Dr. Swikrity U Baskota is a third year anatomic pathology resident at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, USA. She will be starting a fellowship in Cytopathology July, 2020 at the same institution. For the last two years she has been serving as a delegate of the College of American Pathologists (CAP)-Resident forum. Currently, she also serves for CAP Cytopathology Committee as a junior member. She has a number of peer-reviewed articles published in esteemed journals at an early phase of her career.
Prior to her resettlement in the United States, she completed anatomic and clinical pathology residency from National Academy of Medical Sciences, Bir Hospital, Kathmandu, Nepal. She practised Pathology in Nepal for two years at Norvic Hospital, National Center for Rheumatic Diseases and Helping Hands Community Hospital.
She has been active in the ASK Foundation USA since it’s establishment in 2015 as a founding member, Vice-secretary and Director of Telemedicine Services. She also serves as a committee member for the International Collaboration Committee at America Nepal Medical Foundation (ANMF).
